 Medveja
A village and summer resort on the eastern coast
of Istria, situated in a picturesque cove, 2 km south of Lovran;
population 177. Its large pebble beach, one of the most beautiful
in the Kvarner region, was formed by diverging branches of the brook
running from Mt. Ucka towards limestone karst. A large and modern
campsite was erected near the beach.

Medveja offers a variety of accommodation facilities (hotels, rooms,
apartments). A walk from Medveja Cove to Lovran Cove (3 km) or to
Ucka has been the most traditional recreation in the town. The vicinity
of Lovran or Opatija is interesting especially for those who seek
entertainment programs.
